Mrs. Crivello Now
Mrs. Crivello Then
This school year adds to my more than 20 years teaching. During that time, I've taught Kindergarten, 1st grade, 3rd grade, 6th grade English, 7th grade English, 8th grade English, 8th grade World History, 9th grade English and 12th grade English Literature. World History is by far my favorite thing to teach. I'm fascinated with cave men, ancient Greeks and Romans, knights and castles of the middle ages, Vikings, and the Mayans and Incas of Mesoamerica.
I grew up on a farm in Georgia. I always dreamed of traveling and seeing the world. Not long after I graduated from high school, I met my husband. He was in the Army at the time, so after our wedding, he was stationed in Belgium. Like most Army tours, we went there with the intention of staying for a three-year tour. We loved it so much, my husband got out of the Army, and we stayed there for 15 years. Our son, Ian, was born there. When Ian was about 5, we decided to return to the United States and moved to the Washington, DC area. There are many, many historical sights to see in and around our country's capital. In 2009, my husband's job transferred to Redstone Arsenal, so we packed up and moved again, hopefully for the last time.
I look forward to spending time with you this year and getting to know more about you!
